Outrageous.They were totally outrageous: leaping and jumping about, and cate rwauling at every little guitar riff... More than 4,000 youngsters invaded the amphitheatre last night ; encouraged no doubt by the reasonably priced entry fee (40F) for the doubly-starred EV and Armensconcert. These long standing Celtic rock roadsters opened fire straight away. Gweltaz, bare-chested and kilt-clad fairly somersaulted onto the stage : "C'est parti là-dedans!".

As the evening had begun, so it continued, locked into an explosive rythm. Nobody saw time pass what with jokes and asides about regional languages and the music,of course. When Armens, still riding high on the group's success at Bercyand the Vieilles Charrues, took the floor the teen-age members of the audience were seized by hysteria - girls crushed up against the stage drank in each and every word uttered by Alex. After the concert, they were still lurching about, awestruck, on the banks of the Odet...
