For HENAFF, the quality of the pork used in the preparation of the famous pork paté and fresh sausage is absolutely essential.
The pigs come from breeders in the Finistere area and are breeds known for producing top quality meat. They are raised without hormones in accordance with the regulation.
Priority focuses on the well-being of the animal: the pigs are in good health, under regular inspection by veterinarians and brought up in groups then transported with care to the slaughterhouse in the factory itself.
Its constant concern for quality has led the company to request the most demanding veterinary approvals in France and abroad. HENAFF was granted ISO 9002 certification in 1993.
Around 200 people work in the enterprise, approximately half of them are men and half women, almost all coming from the area.
A constant concern for progress and continuous training are ever present throughout the company.
Since 1990, 64 people have studied and been awarded a professional aptitude certificate within the company, issued by the Ministry of National Education.
The Pouldreuzic factory has grown, changed and been modernized over the years. The facility and its built-in slaughterhouse work to quality assurance requirements.
The company is particularly respectful of traditions, the quality of life and of its natural environment.
