In 1994 the town library published a brochure entitled Les Livres de Max which is an index of the poet’s legacy (original editions, reviews, personal documents…).

That index also refers to the latest purchases of the library : the manuscripts of Terrain Bouchaballe and of the Poèmes de Morven le Gaëlique, letters, books illustrated by Picasso, Derain and Juan Gris.

As regards the years after 1994, the library can be contacted for any enquiry concerning other purchases. The town librarians want the library to remain both a place of preservation and a means of helping searchers and readers from all over the world to know that important 20th century writer.
