Max Jacob (1876-1944), nicknamed "the poet with a star", was the son of the tailor Max Alexandre, established
Street du Parc. He lives in Paris during the period between the two World Wars, in the quartier Montmartre. There
he meets Picasso, Cocteau, Mac Orlan, Salmon and Utrillo and particpates to intellectual and literary activities.
